RISE CONNECTED is Looking for Online Teachers!

RISE VC (Virtual Class) provides various online English programs to young learners.

We work with experienced teachers helping students to achieve their academic

goals.

We aim to give the best online education to kids in their comfortable places.

We welcome the candidates ready to reach our aim together!

1:1 Virtual Class (VC) Part-time Online Teaching Position

Ø Role:

- Conduct 1:1 interactive online classes for 25 minutes and provide daily feedback

after each class

- Teach students based on the textbook and materials provided by RISE

- Programs (Phonics, Speaking, E-library, etc.) are assigned based on the

performance from the mock lessons in the interview.

Ø Period and Working Hours:

(1) Period: A minimum contract of 6 months

(2) Working Hours (Being able to teach during weekends give more advantages in

the application process)

Weekdays

- 7:30 am to 11:00 pm on Mondays to Fridays (KST) (Break time: 9:00 am – 1:30 pm)

Weekends

- 9 am to 11 pm on Saturdays and Sundays (KST)

Group Virtual Class (VC) Part-time Online Teaching Position

Ø ROLE

- Teach group classes as a primary teacher from different options: Reading, Vocabulary,

Writing

- Include preparation for classes as well as cooperation in developing curriculum with

RISE staff

- Provide daily class feedback

Ø DETAILS

- Contract Period: minimum 12 weeks (negotiable)

- Time: from 7 pm to 10 pm KST (Must be available for all 3 hours)

- Class Hours: 50 minutes, 60 minutes, and 90 minutes long

*Class hours differ based on the course types and books*

- Preference: Have experience teaching the books below

* Bricks Reading Series

* Vocabulary Workshop Series

* 4000 Essential English Words Series

* Wordly Wise 3000 Series

Ø What RISE VC Offers:

(1) Payment

- Minimum of 12 USD (may differ depending on the mock lessons and teaching

experience) per hour

- The hourly pay rates of 1:1 and group classes differ due to the lesson types and

class hours

*Group classes can be more or less than 50 minutes or 60 minutes, while each 1:1

class is 25 minutes per class*

- Increase hourly paid by submitting proof of qualification

l Teaching Employment Letter

l Teaching Certificate -> TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, etc

l Certificate of B.A or MA relevant to the English education field

(2) Incentive (only for 1:1 class)

- Student retention monthly bonus (only for 1:1 classes)

- Research and Development

- Benefit from unused monthly leaves

- Periodic Events

(3) Contract Renewal

- Extend the contract every six months based on the evaluation by RISE

- Pay raise depending on the evaluation (only for 1:1 classes)

Ø Qualifications:

USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, etc.

- LAN cable is strongly preferred

- Remote teaching possible
