our university occupies 1,300 mu with the total building area of 227497 square meters. Its library has a collection of more than 407,500 books and over 1,200 chinese and foreign periodicals. The university consists of 10 departments, 21 full-time undergraduate specialities and 23 professional training specialities. The university has a teaching staff of 662, and among them are 109 professors and associate professors. And the student population totals 10,000 presently. With the further development of the university and the increasing number of students, we are in need of foreign teachers from September 2008 to July 2009
Period of engagement: one year (from September 2008 to July 2009)
Ć Conditions provided for the teachers:
1) A free flat fully furnished with TV, fridge, micro-wave, telephone, computer, shower ,washing machine and air-conditioner. Electricity, gas and water fees paid for by the institute. (Telephone and internet fees are the responsibility of the foreign teacher.)
2) Salary:4500 RMB per month.
3) Travel allowance: 2200 yuan RMB per year.
4) 100 RMB allowance for your phone fee each month
5) A round-trip plane ticket for one-year employment
6) Z visa sponsorship arranged and paid for by the institute.
7) 2 free chinese lessons for foreign teachers per week
8) An accidential insurance f ree medical care in campus
Requirements for applicants:
a) 25-55 years old
b) Applicants for the post of English teacher should be native English speakers from countries such as the U.K., U.S., Canada, Australia, etc.
c) Participation in English corners and other activities is encouraged.
d) 5/TEFL, TESL or TESOL certificates are desired
