Many people use the word "precise" when they mean "accurate."  There is a big difference between these two words.  "Accurate" means correct, while "precise" refers to the exactness of a measurement.   For example, 1.23478 pounds is  much more precise than 1.2 pounds.  A very precise watch can be inaccurate if it is not set to the correct time.  Your precise Rolex is just as precise no matter where you travel, but if you don't adjust the time for changes in time zones, it will be very inaccurate.
